• Our Mission is to accelerate generation of employment opportunities through implementation of programmes and schemes for development and enhancement of competitiveness of khadi and village industries in rural areas.

• We will strive to simplify the rules, regulations and procedures and introduce information technology based facilities to improve the quality of interface with the citizens.

• We will implement the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005 in letter and spirit.

• Our economic objective is to help generate additional employment opportunities, encourage production of quality products acceptable to the export and domestic markets and facilitate reasonable returns to producers and exporters.

• Our overall objective is to create in active collaboration with all stakeholders, a self reliant environment for healthy and sustainable growth of the industry.

STANDARDS FOR GERNAL PROCEDURES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNITS

• We will respond to all inquires within the shortest possible time.
  
  

• In case of a likely or inevitable delay in decision making or when an issue is disputed, we will promptly communicate the reasons to the concerned.
  
  

• KVI units are expected to send progress report and other information of their units regularly so as to facilitate over all planning for development of KVI.
  
  

• Each of our field office shell responsible for implementation of KVI programme.
  
  

• We Will conduct various field surveys to assess the progress and to explore the potentiality of KVI programme.

GUIDANCE & HELP

• Our Public Relations Officer sitting at the Facilitation Centre at Central Office, KVIC, Mumbai, welcomes your phone call on 26714320 Ext. 272. PRO also provides information and guidance to the visitors, pamphlet and brochures of KVI schemes free of cost to the visitors.

• Priced publications of KVIC can be obtained from Directorate of Publicity, situated on the Ground floor of Central Office, KVIC, Mumbai or from Facilitation Centres opened at KVICs State Offices located in each State capital/ Regional Offices and Multi Disciplenary Training Centres.

• If you have a complaint, you may telephone, send a letter by mail of fax or visit our offices. You may first of all the use the office of Public Relations Officer of Our organisation.
